vulnerability
shiloh burton’s polaroid transfers from her “memories” series embody the intimate moments of revisiting people and evokes the impermanent and textured quality of time. Her black and white photographs from the “for Her” series are about women’s relationship to beauty.
Paige Tuhey’s paintings and mixed media pieces explore ideas of gender, race, sexual deviancy and alienation…but not necessarily in that order
to show the soft underbelly of our emotional lives, and to embrace
compassion and intimacy on a regular basis takes a leap of faith.
These artworks are a testament to the human desire to express vulnerability,
even in the face of opposition and fear. It is only through the state
of being vulnerable that we can achieve connection, understanding,
sincerity, and bliss.
Victoria Heilweil’s color photographs address the need for touch and intimacy in our lives.

Brett Fisher’s traditional black and white portraits of South Indian women and children speak to the vulnerability of being photographed and the artist’s wrestling with that phenomenon. Her archival digital prints of locks taken in the same Indian village relate to the theme of vulnerability as they present the symbolism of protection.
Rysaac Lane’s color prints of chayote squash and radish, use these common edibles to reflect feelings of insecurity, vanity, and self-consciousness individuals experience about their body image.

InternetJuice 1.0. ... Our
menu is very limited right now and it changes daily because we're
still having some trouble finding a reliable wholesale vender that
will deal with the smaller numbers of an up-start all organic/fair
trade/zero waste/InternetJuice Gallery, I mean most people don't even
know what that is yet! Have no fear we will get this issue sussed-out
as we have dealt with issues past; unpredictably reliable. The InternetJuice Gallery 1.0. is a grand work-in-progress (as always) but the above collection of hand blown glass tumblers is our new completely recycled glass ware. At Gravity feed we don't through our cups away but we sure do sell a hell-of-a lot of 'em! If you wish to purchess one of our Gravity Tumblers Just pick the one you want and e-mail me. I'll make it easy for you to have a beautiful work of art to drink out of in the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the world! The end. *sigh*
